Lent 45 – Death still stings though

They asked, ‘death, where is your sting?’
I know death doesn’t have the final word
I know that is has been defeated

But still, death does sting!
It does feel so final
We mourn the loss, we feel deflated

It’s difficult to comprehend
That His death brings me Life
He said that He had come that they may have life and life to the full.
Thank You!

I don’t like the thought of my loved ones dying.
I don’t linger on those thoughts
I know it’s inevitable
But still, that day, will suck! Saying goodbye!

He
Will
Restore
All
Things

Death, couldn’t hold Him down
But His mother, still cried.
His friends still cried.
And we will cry, when our loved ones die.
