Day 10 – When that Lord leapt, was he acting undignified?
“We have to follow that star!” one of my colleagues exclaimed.
I looked around at the excitement and anticipation on the faces of those men. We were charged to make wise and rational decisions for our city and region.
We always made good calculated decisions. And the majority of us were always in agreement.
That night, the decision we had come to was not rational. It was not entirely based on accurate calculations.
Weirdly, we had all decided to follow our gut.
That star would lead us to a Change.
It would lead us to a King.
It would lead us to a Messiah.
We had decided we would head out in the morning. (Had wise men just decided to do something unwise? Or were they spot on?)
I headed home, kissed my wife and told her of our plan.
She didn’t look at me as if we were strange. It’s as if she knew already…
“The world will no longer be the same.”
As we headed to bed, that bright star light hung over our heads… waiting to lead us…
