Day 6: doors and windows

Most rooms one would find themselves in should usually have a door and a window.

I will never let my circumstances confine me.
There is always a way out.
I won’t let boredom creep into this room of my life.  Because the door reminds me I can always go outside to play, to walk, run, bask in the sunlight or dance in the rain.
The door reminds me that there are opportunities awaiting me. I must go and take them.

The frame of the window reminds me to capture scenes of beauty.
I will appreciate my sight. That I can see the colours of the sky and flowers.
The window reminds me to look out. Look out beyond myself.
There is more to life than “me”
Friends and dear world, forgive my moments of self-obsession.

And as the wise saying goes; when all of life’s doors seem closed to me; let me notice that God has provided an open window for me.

Let us climb through it…

  1. I like your insight. May you be blessed with doors opened wide to receive God’s grace and windows letting His light and wisdom to shine on the room of your heart.

    Thanks for your beautiful writing.
