The Monuments Men (a really good film)

This was probably one of my favourite films of 2014 so far!

Ignore what the other critics say!

A really good cast, quirky sense of humour and such a heart warming story.  I felt so inspired after watching this.

Based on a true story, a film based during the World War about a small band of men who go looking to protect and rescue Art and other beautiful relics of that time.

See the trailer here:

This movie was packed with some profound quotes; like this one:

“You can wipe out an entire generation, you can burn their homes to the ground, and somehow they’ll still find their way back. But if you destroy their history, you destroy their achievements, then it’s as if they never existed. That’s what Hitler wants, and that’s exactly what we’re fighting for.”
