Us Christians, we can be an odd bunch at times.
Just musing at that grace we so often say (and probably guilty of not meaning the words all the time):
AND NOW MAY THE GRACE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
THE LOVE OF GOD
AND THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
BE WITH US
NOW AND FOREVERMORE.
That is a really cool thing to wish over people! Imagine if we meant it with more sincerity?
But the funniest thing with this is how when we say this blessing in church… how everyone looks around and tries to stare at each other (hope I don’t miss anyone out? that’s cause church politics)…ahh, such an awkward moment… it’s great! Makes me chuckle.. and I like to chuckle.
