In my morning devotions today I read of these 2 students who decided sometime ago (for 2 hours every Wednesday) to stand along a busy path at their campus and hold up a sign saying: “Free Compliments” and when people walked past… they would say nice things to them. Such as:
very nice smile
I like your red coat
And seriously more and more students started walking along that pathway looking to receive compliments.
I smiled reading this story.
People are looking for compliments. People are looking for encouragement.
Not fake compliments. But sincere ones.
When last have you complimented someone? Just sincerely been nice to them.
